Succeed Ganmain

The "Succeed Ganmain... A Local Answer" project brings Ganmain’s young people and its community organisations together to promote the Ganmain & District community.

Whilst recognising the important role that all levels of government play in supporting regional communities, Ganmain & District Landcare Group (G&DLG) members share a belief that the responsibility for true community vibrancy lies in the actions and values of the local people... Local answers by local people.

So, our organisation and the students of Ganmain Public School, Historical Society, Craft Cottage cooperative, representatives of the Wiradjuri people and farming community have been working together to create a series of educational workbooks, resource materials, a photo library and this website so that we can showcase all that is wonderful about our community, including its Cultural and Natural Heritage, its Indigenous Heritage and Farming Practices Past and Present.
